Real news from a real community, this site was originally designed by SEA (it's been tweaked since) in response to the growing needs of a disadvantaged community for more information and better representation with local government.

Knowle West is a disadvantaged community in South Bristol, ranking in the worst 10% in the country for housing, health, educational attainment and employment. In 2007, the carbon footprint of the neighbourhood was scored as one of the worst in the city. Which is when we became involved in helping the community of Knowle West to change their environmental behaviours through digital inclusion and social enterprise support.

As time goes by, new conversations form and we were proud to support this project for the people of Knowle West.
