I enjoy going to work each morning at SEA because...

Most days, I am excited about working at SEA because I have a great sense of the positive impact we bring to others. I enjoy the challenges of making private sector clients more productive and public sector clients more effective in what they do. I find it rewarding working with third sector clients and talking to people from many walks of life.

To be honest, I am often amazed by what I have in common with people and how much I learn from others, and I think that's because all people care about making things better and solving problems affecting them. It feels nice to have a job where your remit is to listen, and then to help...where you can.

I also enjoy living and working in Cornwall. Going to the beach is a perfect antidote for working a 60+ hour week. Everyday, we have a laugh in the office. We pull together. We work hard, which our clients' appreciate. They understand how we add value and how we're different.

From a personal point of view, I absolutely love creative problem solving. I love being able to use my marketing skills to know what decisions to make. And I love, LOVE, digital media. I love applying it to solve social, environmental and business issues.

I was once told that I shouldn't build up a company around my interests but on the needs of clients. It's very good advice but luckily I think we've managed to achieve the best of both worlds - which makes us passionate, resilient and determined to achieve our clients goals without losing sight of our own.
