Co-discovery is different to traditional forms of consultation because the opinions and needs of the service users, target groups and customers are sought.
Working alongside and with (not for) the recipient of a service, our collaborative approach harnesses a range of perspectives to gain fresh insights and redefine possibilities.
Here's some techniques we use:
Co-discovery workshops |
Using a number of highly creative techniques, we run collaborative workshops to gain fresh insights, stimulate ideas, inspire people to come forward and think differently.
Cultural probes using digital media |
We invite service users to use film and other media to tell their stories, record ideas, express themselves and the experiences of others.
Outreach activities |
We believe in reaching out to people rather than waiting for them to find us; making use of established social, community and business networks.
Crowdsourcing |
We regularly use digital and social media to engage target groups; creating new means of dialogue, enabling virtual brainstorming and the sharing of ideas.
Modelling & Visualisation |
We work with a range of service users to visualise how they would like to receive services and articulate what is important to them. |
