Founded in 2007, Carbon Makeover helps local people find local answers to tackling the global problem of climate change. It is now deeply embedded within a community in South Bristol called Knowle West. Local people love it, and it has motivated many of them to pledge to reduce their environmental impacts.
Carbon Makeover has also helped people to grow in confidence, groups to form and whole communities to adopt many positive behaviours, to such an extent that we are now sharing Carbon Makeover nationally.
