Kathryn Woolf

Kathryn is co-Director at Sea Communications, championing the important role of communication in social and business innovation.

 

She has a BA hons degree in Media Arts and an Advanced Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She is a design ambassador for the Design Council and a member and volunteer ambassador for STEM.

 

As an experienced marketer Kathryn understands how to engage people, build trust and influence behaviour. She is motivated by designing services and experiences that deliver more value to people, and interested in how technology can create social capital and deliver better public services.

 

In 2010, she produced Dott Cornwall's Big Design Challenge - winner of a 2011 Media and Innovation Award for ‘Best Community Web Use' and finalist for the much coveted UK Public Sector Award, ‘Best Example of Citizen Engagement'.

 

In her role as design mentor, Kathryn facilitates design workshops and outreach events to gather opinion, develop ideas and foster innovation.

 

Prior to co-founding Sea, Kathryn was a Senior Account Manager for digital design agency Euro RSCG. She has managed the delivery of marketing campaigns and large scale web development projects for Orange PLC, Zurich Financial Services, Kraft Foods and the Kingfisher Group.
